Our Family Story

The Chandler family name is synonymous with 3 things: community, resiliency and ownership. Co-Founder and CEO Darrin Chandler was born and raised in the Bronx, New York during the worst era of the War on Drugs. Having been directly impacted by the ramifications of the failed War on Drugs, Mr. Chandler decided to save his family by relocating to New Jersey. With that change, Mr. Chandler was able to eventually become a survivor of the War. In Mr. Chandler’s professional career in the entertainment business, he was able to become a senior executive and occupy positions at UMG, Def Jam and Roc-a-Fella Records. After years of developing corporate experience, Mr. Chandler decided to form a family business with his son. Having spent years in the Denver, Colorado cannabis market providing consulting and branding services to top-tier cannabis companies, the Chandlers were able to successfully start their own cannabis operation.

  • As a strategic branding executive in cannabis since 2010, Darrin negotiates and secures partnerships, licensing, and strategic branding relationships for several established brands as well as legacy companies new to the legal cannabis marketplace. Darrin’s expertise is in business development and growth, where he has spent decades creating and building brands.

    In the entertainment industry Darrin was in senior executive leadership for over 25 years. Darrin served as Executive Vice President of Roc-A-Fella Records/Def Jam, Senior Director of A&R at MCA Records/Universal Music Group, and managed numerous major recording artists, producers, and songwriters. In those capacities, Darrin worked directly with mega stars including Kanye West, Jay Z, and New Edition.

  • Mr. Chandler is a former New Jersey Collegiate Division 1 Student-Athlete. Mr. Chandler holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing and Management from Montclair State

    University and is an active member of the New Jersey African American Chamber of

    Commerce.

    A business, real estate and cannabis industry expert and Darrin works with several state Universities and Minority Organizations on cannabis curriculum and educational programs. Mr. Chandler is a 11-year licensed New Jersey real estate agent and has closed millions of dollars in sales in his capacity as a licensed real estate agent. Most recently, Mr. Chandler joined RIPCO Real Estate as the Director of Cannabis Real Estate focusing on cannabis operator representation.
